She was destined for art. When she was a young child, the time she was allowed to draw was the moment when, like a bird returning to the forest, a fish returning to the river. This obsessive passion has always driven her to eventually enter university to study art. In a career spanning more than forty years, from classical painting to impressionism to contemporary, her artistic style has evolved significantly over time.
Although she grew up with a strong background in Chinese painting and calligraphy, she is not content to work with a single form. Particularly in her media use, she has increasingly tended to experiment and practice a wide range in her artwork, such as clay, acrylic, watercolor, oil, and pastel. She believes that working in a single medium limits her artistic process. Expanding and combining the expressive power of media better reflects an artist's social responsibility to promote innovation.
The diversity of media can inspire her work; however, she believes that the source of inspiration comes more from the knowledge and experience of the world. After receiving her BFA, she also earned a triple degree in mathematics, economics, and finance during her advanced studies. In addition to the abstract nature of mathematics that enriches her ideas, she often travels around the world to absorb concrete materials for her creations so that in many of her works, we can see various portraits of people and wild animals in nature.
